Low-code/no-code (LCNC) platforms are rapidly gaining traction in business application development. This shift represents a democratization of application development, enabling non-technical individuals to create apps. However, it also significantly expands the attack surface for organizations adopting these platforms.

In this complimentary analyst report, Omdia sees that the potential for citizen developers to introduce vulnerabilities “is at least as great, if not greater, than the risk that actual coders will do so in the apps that they develop using traditional methods.”

Why put Nokod Security on your radar?

Omdia senior principal analyst Rik Turner weighs in: “Nokod provides visibility into the LCNC applications already in use within an organization and the vulnerabilities that they contain. It also recommends how they can be remediated, enabling security teams to (a) see all the LCNCs they must contend with, and (b) oversee the remediation process for vulnerabilities, routing the alerts back to the original creators and monitoring the progress toward resolution of the issue.
The vendor already covers some of the most widely used LCNC platforms with its technology and has a list of others that it could add, depending on what its customers ask for.”
